Veterans Affairs seeks feedback on health care
Victoria Advocate - 3/1/2017
March 01--Veterans in the Crossroads are invited to the South Texas Veterans Health Care System Town Hall meeting March 9 at the Victoria College Emerging Technology Complex.
The event is open to veteran service organizations representatives, military veterans and their families.
Nenette C. Madla, VA public affairs officer, said these meetings are hosted on a quarterly basis in San Antonio, Kerrville and Victoria.
"The meeting is intended to provide local veterans and their families an opportunity to ask questions, provide feedback and share ideas with South Texas leadership on VA operations," she said.
An information fair begins an hour before the town hall with representatives from the VA Choice Program, Prosthetics and Enrollment/Eligibility available to answer questions.
The meetings allow veterans the opportunity to voice their concerns, make suggestions and offer constructive criticism to help improve South Texas Veterans Health Care System services.
Robert M. Walton, director of the South Texas Veterans Health Care System, and executive staff will be at the event to listen to veterans and field questions.
"I am looking forward to providing health care system updates and receiving feedback on how we can improve the veteran experience," Walton said in a news release.
